MIP Motorsports attends the NMRA Spring Break Shootout, this
is the opening race for the NMRA series and was held at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Derek drives the GT500 to the final
round and eliminates the previous year's winner in the JDM Engineering Super Stang class running a best of 11.40 at 126mph
on DOT tires.

MIP
installs a set of Maximum Motorsports camber-caster plates on Anthony's 1996 Cobra. This car already has several
outstanding mods: FRPP 8mm plug wires, Koni adjustable shocks/struts, Eibach lowering springs, 04 Cobra wheels, Borla
mufflers, BBK off road h-pipe, FRPP shorty headers, MGW shifter, K&N filter, and a touch screen display with Sirious sattelite
radio. Next this car will get a revised Borla XR1 mufflers with Bassani 3.5 inch pipes, and a C&L cold air intake,
maybe down the line a Procharger or Whipple?

The MIP Shelby gets a new exhaust system. Compliments of JBA exhaust the Shelby was outfitted with a 3" system
from the x-pipe back, the same system that was developed for the GT500KR and Super Snake. We absolutely love the sound
of this new exhaust paired with the Kooks long tube headers and off-road x-pipe! It is the perfect combination of old
muscle car ruble and the high-revving pitch of today's overhead cam engines.

7/28/2008 Damian's 2001
Saleen S-281 gets a new powerplant. This car was purchased by Damian with intentions to have a unique daily driver.
MIP installs a 5.4L SOHC engine in the Saleen utilizing the factory Mustang intake and a set of Reichard Racing adapter plates,
billet fuel rails, FRPP shorty racing headers, Bassani off-road x-pipe, JLT true cold air intake, Autometer gauges, UPR tubular
k-member, QA1 tubular front suspension with billet coilover struts, Centerforce dual friction clutch/pressure plate, billet
short throw shifter, UPR rear double adjustable upper and lower race control arms.

















8/1/08
David's 1994 Mustang GT Convertible gets a custom SCT Chip tuned by Ken Bjonnes. This car runs 5.0L with a Trick
Flow "Track Heat" setup including: Cam, Lifters, Springs, Aluminum Heads, Upper/Lower Intake, MAF, Injectors, BBK
Throttle Body, Shorty Headers, and a few other goodies.






8/3/08 Richard's 07 Mustang
GT gets tuned by Ken Bjonnes. With ONLY 69 years under his belt this Mustang is sure to "Make It Pay." With
an X-cal II, a custom tune, off road exhaust and a less restrictive filter this car is just as quick as the "Little old
lady from Pasadena."

7/10/08 Jim's 2006 Mustang
GT gets tuned with an X-cal II. 2 custom tunes by Ken Bjonnes "wake-up" his already mean ride. This
car sports Long tube headers, off road x-pipe, Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers, 4.10 gears, Foose wheels, C&L CAI,
Roush rear spoiler, CDC scoups and louvers. What a fitting car for a retired State Police Officer!

and Denise's 2005 Roush gets a "pimp my ride" makeover. After learning how to power-brake a manual trans Mustang Denise found
her way to a new clutch. Install includes a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, C&L Cold Air Intake system, Ford Racing
Performance Parts Charge Motion Control Delete Plates, Stainless Works longtube headers, off-road x-pipe, and a Hurst Competition
Plus shifter.

5/3/2008 Tom's 2004 Mach1 gets a set of H&R race springs, BMR Lower control arms, SCT X-cal II with two custom tunes. Tom recently
upgraded the Mach wheels to these deep dish Bullitts. 5/21/2008 Install includes Nytrex "Triple Threat" adjustable nitrous system,
C&L Cold Air Intake, Hurst Roll Control line lock system.

5/16/08 Chalon's 2005 Mustang
GT Turbo loses number 8 piston on her first qualifying pass at Gateway International raceway. The car was recently upgraded
with twin Ford GT supercar pumps, and continues to have a 40amp KB Boost-a-pump with Metco billet fuel rails and 30# Cobra
injectors. The addition of 15lbs of boost with the 3.31 rear gear ratio was more than last year's motor could take.
The car was parked and she continued her qualifying with our GT500 for which she was placed 10th overall with an index of
12.32 at 118mph. First round proved difficult as she piloted the Shelby to a 12.29 @ 119mph losing to a turbocharged
GTO that also broke out in the other lane. Reaction times were close, margin of of loss was 0.0592 seconds!

Jeannie's 98 Cobra gets lowered, a set of headers, gears, and a tune!!! We begin by installing a set of Steeda Sport
springs, a pair of Ford Racing Performance Parts shorty headers, Bassani off-road x-pipe, MAC Pro-dumps, 4.10 gears, and a
Superchips Custom Tuning X-calibrator II with a couple of custom tunes by Ken Bjonnes. This beautiful car is in mint
condition with only 35,000 original miles!

February
2008 Mike's Pantera gets tuned, this car is the NASTIEST Pantera in the area! It just sounds sick. Mike originally
wanted to add nitrous because he was concerned about the amount of horsepower that it might make, he now has second thoughts.
This car sports a 408 Cleveland stroker assembled by John Kane. It has Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads with a
port matched air gap intake, a Pro Race 4 barrel, and a set of ceramic coated headers.

The Shelby puts down 451 rear wheel horsepower totally stock. The next dyno run we installed the C&L intake tuned
by Justin Starkey and laid down 492 rear wheel horsepower with 477 torque!!!

the Shelby gets lowered, a C&L intake tuned by Justin Starkey of VMP Tuning, some mufflers, and a set of 4.10 gears.
A set of Steeda Sport springs goes in and we will drop about 1 1/2 inches in the front and rear. Black Flowmaster axle
back exhaust with 4" chrome tips are going in because it is just too quiet. Sorry Mr. Shelby, your car is
great but Ford had to comply to noise/vibration/harshness restrictions and I can't even hear it running at idle.

January 21, 2009 MIP installs true dual exhaust with an off road h-pipe and JBA evol mufflers on Bill's 2007
Mustang V-6. We also installed a Roush custom painted rear 3 piece spoiler and hood scoop, and an MMR air intake system.
Bill recently added 18" wheels and new tires to the car with plans to install a custom tune by Ken Bjonnes through an
SCT x-cal 2 to take full advantage of the new mods. Future plans include installing a turbo system to make this one
of the more respectable V-6 Mustangs around.

Clay's 08 Shelby GT500 gets a stage I upgrade with a C&L cold air intake system, an SCT X-cal 3 with 3 custom tunes
by Justin Starkey, a set of TR-6 plugs. This car also has a set of CHE lower control arms. Look to see this car
get a dyno in the comming weeks. Looking to bust 500rwhp!!!







8/1/08
The Shelby gets a "Boost" in power thanks to a 2.6 inch billet aluminum S/C pulley from Metco with a 100mm tensioner
kit and a set of TR-6 spark plugs. In addition to the pulley we installed an AFCO dual pass heat exchanger to decrease
intake air temperatures, especially since we live in sunny FL now! Thanks to Lethal Performance for supplying us with
these items on our shop car!

Mustang GT gets a complete overhaul of performance and cosmetic mods: Steeda CAI, Steeda Billet TB spacer, Steeda underdrive
pulleys, FRPP 4.10 gears, FRPP shorty headers and x-pipe, SCT Livewire programmer with custom tuning, FRPP charge motion control
delete plates, Steeda Tri-ax shifter. In the ripe old age of 50's Frank has the energy and desire that could match most
of the kids in high school. Good luck with your fight against Leukemia, you have done well so far!!!









5/06/2008 Rob's 2007 Mustang
GT Convertible gets a new set of rims. 18x10" rear deep dish bullitts and 17x9" front stock wheels that have been
painted to match the rears.

Justin's 2008 Mustang GT gets lowered with a set of Steeda Sport Springs. The suspension receives a major upgrade
with Tokico D-spec fully adjustable shocks/struts and a Granatelli A-arm brace. A few horsepower are have now found
their way to the ground as a K & N air filter goes in and a UPR off road X-pipe is installed. Justin is looking
to compete in local SCCA autocross events and will be strapping on a set of 245/45/17" race tires with Cobra "R"
wheels. Good Luck Justin!!!

S281. MIP installs a custom C&L intake with MAF, heat shield, and a large conical S&B filter. Also completed
in this upgrade was 4.10 rear gears, custom tuning by Ken Bjonnes with an SCT X-cal II, and a 2.60 upper supercharger pulley.
